SPECIAL BULLETIN
On 10/10/2024 my mother had a neuro-psychological exam performed which took about six hours. The issue was that she has been and is having trouble with her memory and cognition. Two possible outcomes were dementia and, worst of all, the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease. Waiting on the diagnosis took just over a month.
On 11/14/2024 my father found out what it was. Mom has a form of dementia. One of the contributing factors is that she has stage four kidney disease. Her kidneys have recently had improvements as she’s drinking more liquids. Mom will be visiting with a geriatrist, someone who specializes in elderly medicine, in February of 2025.
This is going to be rough on us. We’ll try to get through this. The “Holiday Blow-Out Special” will still be held. If, however, things should worse, I will have to close down Voice II Media. I’m asking you to please keep my mother in your prayers.
